Peak Time and Delay

Understanding Pallet Network Deliveries

After we dispatch pallets through the Palletways network, the process is broadly similar to sending a parcel via Royal Mail Standard Post. It is not possible for us to know the exact time that a customer's local depot will deliver, or how each depot schedules its daily delivery routes.

Our standard delivery service is an economy pallet kerbside delivery by tail-lift. Any delivery times displayed within the Palletways tracking system are estimates provided by the network and cannot be guaranteed.

Pallet transport networks occasionally experience peak operational periods at certain depots or along trunk routes. During these periods, minor delays may occur. As a customer of the network, we do not have direct control or full operational visibility over the internal scheduling of each individual depot.

This is a common industry practice. Whether you purchase paving materials from us or from other suppliers, the delivery process is largely the same, as very few paving companies operate their own nationwide logistics fleets. Most suppliers rely on third-party pallet networks for distribution.

Builders and landscapers who regularly order paving materials from different suppliers are often familiar with this process, as pallet network logistics operate in a very similar way across the paving and landscaping industry.
